Know More For You is a survivor founded patent pending public record research site that organizes public records related to domestic violence, sexual assault, coercive control, harassment, stalking, protection orders, police reports, court filings, and civil actions—whether or not a criminal conviction occurred.
KMFY helps address gaps in traditional background searches by bringing greater visibility to publicly documented safety related records that may otherwise be fragmented, difficult to access, or overlooked.
Know More For You receives public records through multiple authorized pathways, including individual submissions, direct submissions from government agencies and courts, and records independently retrieved by KMFY from public record sources.
Our purpose is not to determine guilt or innocence. Our goal is to make public records easier to find, understand, and navigate so users can conduct their own research.
Know More For You was founded on the belief that survivors deserve to have a voice without being placed at greater risk, and that access to information can support awareness and accountability.
All records are organized within a standardized system, regardless of how they enter the site, and submissions are subject to review. Individuals who are the subject of a record may also submit publicly obtainable documentation to provide additional context.
Public information is not always accessible information. Records exist across different courts, law enforcement agencies, government offices, and jurisdictions.
We believe public records can provide valuable context. Our goal is not to tell people what to think, but to help them know where to look and understand what they find, so they can make decisions with greater clarity.
We are creating a resource that helps people better understand documented histories involving domestic violence, sexual assault, coercive control, stalking, harassment, and protection orders.
We believe survivors deserve to have their experiences recognized, communities deserve the opportunity to recognize warning signs, and those who cause harm should be held accountable so cycles of violence have a chance to end.
We want to help people ask better questions, make safer choices, recognize patterns, and create a future where knowledge can lead to prevention, accountability, and meaningful change.
